Health and Safety
A survey and report on the health and safety of trees at a site is a service we provide for a wide range of organisations. It enables you to fulfil the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 as well as the Occupiers Liability Act 1957 & 1984 with regards to trees under your management, this may also be a requirement of insurance companies.
The risk a tree poses is dependent on many factors, a tree considered high risk on one site may pose a medium risk on another site. Our experience working with a wide range of organisations from schools to festivals, enables us to ensure that what we provide is measured, accurate, and appropriate.
A tree condition survey report involves a site visit to assess trees on your site, it documents the trees’ location, condition, risk posed, works required to make trees safe, as well as any further additional comments.
For schools…
Safeguarding is of the upmost importance, our consultants have enhanced DBS checks and we are able to schedule our site visits around the school day or plan ahead and schedule them for INSET days or outside of term time.
For housing estates…
We work closely with managing agents as well as individual committees. We provide a tree survey and tree condition report; reporting on trees in communal, public or community spaces. We will also provide information of the risk posed and any work required to mitigate issues. As well as this we can also advise on tree stock and give guidance on management work to preempt issues arising meaning that cost-effective tree care and budgeting long term is possible.
For parishes…
Who are needing to bring quotes to a committee, we are able to liaise with the relevant parties to ensure that the quotes you are receiving are competitive and comparable so that committees are able to make the best decision for parish assets.
For festivals…
We work closely with operations managers about the planned usage of the site over the festival period as well as site set up and break down. We are able to provide guidance and plans as to how best mitigate tree risk with the short term change of usage from the festival in mind.
For community organisations…
For community organisations such as libraries, doctors’ surgeries and community centres, we work closely with site managers and support you to ensure that your trees are managed in a safe and appropriate way. Helping you to fulfill the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 as well as the Occupiers Liability Act 1957 & 1984.
